Tailored early years experiences introducing our world to young ears via a kaleidoscope of sounds & music. Follow us on a large TM interactive floor map & inflatable globe as we criss-cross continents learning about countries, languages & cultures. Have fun learning simple folk dance movements (circle dances) & new rhythms, immerse yourself in tactile movement while enjoying fine instrumental music from around the world.

Bespoke for our primary years students, linking our music experience to several Key Learning Areas from various Australian curriculum syllabuses - complete with in-class worksheets for teacher-lead follow-up. Senior Journeys brings the world to your door with Musica Barquera's high-quality mobile experience. Exotic flavours, Flamenco fire, sensuous clarinet melodies, plus some well-known tunes thrown in for an enjoyable trip down memory lane. Occupational therapy techniques are utilised in low-grade movement activities for those inclined, who wish to experience our performances with the  provided multi-sensory materials.

With a guaranteed maximum on particiaption, Recycled Sounds removes the barrier of owning a musical instrument. Enjoy creating an array of self-made instruments from a variety of recycled materials & objects. We explore the basics of sound production concepts such as vibration, air pressure, speed of sound & acoustics (KLA Science & Technology). This hands-on discovery session also explores key repertoire from Musica Barquera's concert experience, taking participants of all ages on a mini-worldwind experience through diverse music styles. We journey through a kaleidoscope of sounds, all of which have combined throughout history

to influence the Flamenco phenomenon of today.

Maximise creativity utilising found sounds from your immediate environment to learn about the music-making process. Create instant pieces in collaboration with our visiting artists, using whirlys, wine glasses, pipes, a variety of 'found' percussion objects, plus other surprises from Maryanne's suitcase of sounds.
